Life is interesting in Long Grove Illinois, or at least it can be if you would like it to be. The opportunities that exist in our unique Northern Illinois area are vast, running the gamut from charming village life to learning unusual skills. One example of what makes life interesting is the Long Grove Park District.
Next week alone, residents of Long Grove Illinois can partake in a cheese making class or learn the age old sport of fencing. How many people have opportunities like these in their back yards?
Over the course of two Wednesdays, February 22 and 29, at 7 pm, cheese enthusiasts can learn how to make their own delicious cheese at Reed-Turner Woodland. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore how to create cheese on your own and know exactly what ingredients are involved.
Of course, if you are more active and have always dreamed of wielding a sword the fine art of fencing could be up your alley. The six week class starts next Thursday, February 23, at the Kildeer Countryside School, at 4:30 pm. The class is open to children and youth.
